Welcome to Mark Seawell’s Photo World. I invite you to experience my collection of fine art landscape creations. Through my lens I want viewers of this website to experience several things. First, the moment. I define the moment as a sliver in time when something magical, something special is captured by my lens. Secondly, the viewer should feel the moment and be struck by it. I chase moments of light that have moved me in some way. I hope they have the same effect on people who view my creations.

Since I live in the western part of Germany, nearly all of these images are from here. This area of Germany (Rheinland Pfalz) offers stunning fog covered landscapes, grand castles dating back centuries, and a wine region that produces some of the most popular wines in Europe all waiting to be photographed!

This website offers the ability to buy fine art prints in many sizes. You also may order framed pictures and much more! There are many different galleries to choose from such as “While you were sleeping” or “If the Light is Right” among others. Traditionalists will enjoy the “Light and Shadow” gallery, a collection of black and white landscapes in the spirit of the great Ansel Adams. Also, for those living in Germany, I can personally print, matte and frame any image you see on my site. This is faster than ordering from the states. Please contact me for details.
